Wrote... Lots of good stuff here. However, i find this site is somewhat too Windows specific. There are lot of exciting Linux stuff also, which is not covered here. I would like to make some points: 1. XBoard for UNIX was first, then came Winboard 2. Scid was first in UNIX/Linux 3. Crafty works also in UNIX/Linux, in fact its compiled with GNU gcc. 4. Lot of chess stuff covered here is GNU GPL and GNU/Linux is also GPL. 5. There are other cool chess stuff in Linux, which is not covered at all here like EBoard (http://eboard.sourceforge.net) and Knights (http://knights.sourceforge.net) So i would like to see here some Linux/Unix overview also. Thats just my wish, this site is cool anyway and many tips described here are also useful in Linux. Thank you!
